Does the MJCC have volunteer opportunities? It sure does! We wouldn't be able to offer the kind of programming that we do without our incredible team of volunteers. Every show requires volunteers, from ticket takers to bartenders to ushers. A sold out show requires almost 20 volunteers to run smoothly! You can find the online application here.
-
How old do I need to be to volunteer? As of right now, volunteer opportunities are only available to those 18 and older.
-
Do I need to have previous experience in a theatre?Short answer, no! If you are good with people, love the arts, and want to help bring diverse programming to Moose Jaw, then this opportunity is for you. If you wish to become part of our bartending team, we do ask that you do some Serve it Right training.
-
How do I apply? The online application can be found here: Our paper application form is available for pick up at the box office. Alternatively, you can email Jen (our volunteer coordinator), and ask that one be emailed to you. jennifer@moosejawculture.ca After we receive your application, we will call you or meet you for a short interview and an hour of training (most training is learnt best "on the job"). You will then qualify to sign up for events through the online portal.
